If you're going out to check out Sex and the City: The Movie, just know that fash icon/Aries chick Vivienne Westwood isn't going with you.
The firebrand designer, 67, is name-checked in the film, and she created the dress worn by Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie, in a wedding scene in the flick.
But that doesn't mean she had to enjoy the film. In fact, says Vivienne, someone ought to slap the stylist, Patricia Field.
Okay, she didn't say that. She just thought that maybe the fashions would be a little more...fashionable. Or at least like maybe something she might like. Not just bleh. Or even, in fact, anything like this:
No word on whether or not she was knickerless at the time, but she's got kind of a knack for that. Those fire girls have no time to waste, hopping into underwear. Lord knows, if she wasted 30 seconds on something that mundane, well, she might miss somethin' interesting!

Fash icon Vivienne Westood: "Sex" is boring
Says Vivienne: "I thought Sex And The City was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion and there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw. I went to the premiere and left after ten minutes."
